Situated opposite the bungalows is Battery Gardens which
is a Heritage Site through which can be seen the magnificent sweep of Torbay. Situated approximately 100 yards from Fishcombe Cove Beach, offering Excellent bathing, sailing & fishing facilities. A short walk along the coastal path leads to Churston cove, both coves are scenically beautiful and sheltered spots for safe bathing, ideal for children.

Opposite is the WWII Heritage site of Battery Gardens with its Museum, surrounded by lovely woodland walks with spectacular views over Torbay, yet only a 15 minute walk to Brixham Town Center and Harbor.
Each Bungalow and Apartment is completely independent, self contained, self catering and built to full residential standard. The Bungalows can accommodate up to six persons while the apartment accommodates two persons.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement at a supplementary charge. Three of the bungalows have a door from the lounge that opens on to a wide full length terrace, which has full patio furniture and is ideal for sun bathing. |
Each of the bungalows has the same pretty parkland views. The apartment is situated to the rear of the bungalows the patio doors leads on to the patio were you can reach the small terrace Garden that is exclusive to the apartment.
There is one Car Parking space for each bungalow and apartment with ample free parking nearby if required.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to a good Standard with fitted carpets throughout. Limited storage heating is included in the tariff for early or late holidays and may be supplemented by radiant heaters in each room, together with an electric fire in the lounge area. All electricity is charged via a £1 coin metre.
The Town And Environs
BRIXHAM is the jewel in the crown of the English Riviera. It is the oldest and smallest of the three main towns, which forms the English Riviera. Brixham is steeped in History, it is known as the 'Mother Port' of Fishing which today is still an important area of employment.
The World famous hymn "Abide with me" was written by the Vicar of All Saints Henry Francis Lyte at is home which is now the Berry Head Hotel. William of Orange Landed in Brixham, to reclaim the Crown of England.
A visit to Berry Head and you well find the Napoleonic Forts with which to explore, this area is also a Country Park with Great views and plenty of good costal walks.
The center of Brixham is the Harbour which is very much a working harbour with its modern fishing fleet. Here you will find a replica of Sir Frances Drakes ship the Golden Hind. From the Harbour you can catch the Ferry service to Torquay on the Western Lady which is a converted MTB from IIWW. This makes an enjoyable way to see Torbay. Also from the Harbour you are able to book various other boat trips Including fishing.
Around Brixham Harbour you will find a variety of good restaurants & cafes to cater for all tastes and budgets. In the Town center there is a good selection of Shops and Pubs.
Brixham also boasts its own open air sea water swimming pool which is very popular with locals and holiday makers alike. The beaches provide safe bathing.
